Virginia Tech Advancement Division launches new site to improve donor experience
Uniting with Virginia Tech to change the world for the better is now easier with the launch of a new giving website by the university’s Advancement Division.
Driven by web traffic analysis, the site features an upgraded use of video and improved navigation, which streamlines utilizing the online giving form and contacting the university.
“Hokie Nation’s support is critical to Virginia Tech living out our bold vision set forth in our motto, Ut Prosim, and we want to make the giving experience second-to-none,” said Michael Moyer, associate vice president of development for colleges, who helped lead the project. “The new website simplifies partnering with us on this mission by making it easier to give, learn about different ways to give, and understand the tremendous impact giving makes on the university.”
Over time the website will add more examples of how supporters are enabling Virginia Tech to serve on a greater scale locally, nationally, and globally. Stories of discoveries, spaces, traditions, and people will highlight the critical connection between gifts and the university’s effort of changing the world for the better.
Most of all, the new site will provide ongoing clear, simple, and effective ways for supporters to continue to make that work possible.
