Some members of the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors have accepted an invitation to join the university’s operational leaders for a tour of the Agricultural Research and Extension Centers (ARECs) and other teaching and research facilities across the state from Monday, Feb. 25 through Thursday, Feb. 28.

During the four-day tour, participants will receive presentations on the activities occurring across the state, tour some of the facilities associated with each location, and learn about the support needs of each off-campus team.

Blacksburg campus functions that will be represented and for which the presentation materials will be focused include the Office of Executive Vice President and Provost, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Office of Emergency Management, Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities, Finance, and Virginia Tech Police.

Public comment will not be received at any of the tour stops. More information and a complete list of tour stops and presentation times may be found at the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors website.
