No Hokie Left Behind safety effort kicks off
Virginia Tech students are being asked to watch out for their fellow Hokies as part of No Hokie Left Behind, a town and campus safety initiative.
For students participating in social activities the message is simple: Go with Friends, Stay with Friends, and Leave with Friends.
Students are asked to take a pledge and share it on social media using #nohokieleftbehind. Events and outreach efforts will be happening on and off campus. Orange bracelets are being given to students who take the pledge.
No Hokie Left Behind is a collaborative effort between the Virginia Tech Police Department, Blacksburg Police Department, Blacksburg Transit, Interfraternity Council, Pan-Hellenic Council, Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, Virginia Tech Athletics, and Virginia Tech Office of Emergency Management.
