Employees recognized for combined 16,285 years of service
This month 822 Virginia Tech employees are being recognized for their significant career commitment to the university.
Collectively, these 822 faculty and staff, who work in various colleges and departments across the university, have dedicated 16,285 years of service to Virginia Tech.
Employees with 10 and 15 years of service will be recognized at a luncheon on April 15. Employees who have served the university for 20 years will be recognized at a luncheon on April 14. On April 21, employees with 25 years of service or more will be recognized at a dinner event.
Of the employees being recognized, the following four employees have served Virginia Tech for 45 years:
- Vittorio A. Bonomo, finance, insurance, and business law;
- Harold E. Burkhart, forest resources and environmental conservation;
- Mario W. Duncan, facilities services; and
- Donald J. Roschelli, facilities services.
