Celebrate Valentine's Day at the Virginia Tech Alumni Association’s “Food for Thought: An Indulgence of Wine and Fine Cuisine,” Feb. 15-16 at the Holtzman Alumni Center and The Inn at Virginia Tech.

The program includes chef demonstrations, a Mediterranean Food and Wine pairing lunch, an aperitif reception, and a five-course wine pairing dinner. 

The weekend kicks off on Friday night with a sparkling wine and dessert reception at the Holtzman Alumni Center. Saturday’s schedule includes lunch and seminars. The program culminates with Saturday night's themed dinner, "Taste of America: A Five Course Culinary Journey." Preston’s Chef Jason Smith and Award Winning Sommelier Brad Strong will take participants on a culinary journey that pleases the senses, showcasing America’s finest food and wine regions.

The Virginia Tech Alumni Association’s Drillfield Series is a collection of weekend programs designed for alumni, friends and families and centered on special themes with lodging on campus.

The Virginia Tech Alumni Association keeps Hokie Nation connected through networking, services, and involvement. The alumni association has no membership dues and all alumni are members for life.
