Crime Alert: Virginia Tech Police receives report of an assault and attempted abduction
At approximately 1:50 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, Virginia Tech Police received a report of an assault and attempted abduction that occurred approximately 30 minutes earlier, in the parking lot behind Slusher Tower.
At approximately 1:20 a.m., a resident of Slusher Wing heard a male subject screaming. Approximately 5 minutes later the subject was still screaming at which time she looked out her window. She stated she saw a white male wearing a white t-shirt and jeans lying on the ground. Another white male was setting on his neck. She stated the suspect sat on the victim until he passed out. Two other male subjects approached the victim and tried to pick him up at which time he tried to fight back. The two male subjects carried the victim to Slusher Tower. It is unknown whether they were assisting the victim or involved in the attack.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately five foot, ten inches tall, average build, wearing jeans and a dark beanie with a stripe. A silver car was seen speeding away from the area with four males inside that possibly matched the description of the persons involved.
