Students get free admission to men's basketball game against Clemson on Saturday
The Virginia Tech Athletics Department has announced that Virginia Tech students will be admitted free of charge to the men's basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 6, until all seats are occupied.
Tip-off is at 4 p.m., as the Hokies will battle Clemson University in Cassell Coliseum. This change has been implemented due to the inclement weather that has hit the New River Valley.
All students presenting a valid student ID will be placed into the student section first and then be allowed to take seats in the reserved ticket section. If a student occupies a seat of a season ticket holder, the student will be asked to move to an unoccupied seat. For those students who will occupy seats in the season-ticket section, the athletics department asks that fans be courteous to those who have purchased season-tickets, therefore, standing will not be allowed during the duration of the game.
The athletics department reminds all fans to proceed with care to and from the game. For more details, visit www.hokiesports.com
