Crime Alert: Burglaries in Pritchard Hall
The Virginia Tech Police Department is currently investigating a series of burglaries that occurred in Pritchard Hall over the weekend.
On January 23, Virginia Tech Police received six reports of burglaries that had occurred in Pritchard Hall between Friday night and Saturday. In each case, the victim(s) reported that someone had entered their unlocked, residence hall room and had stolen various, easily portable, items such as MP3 players, cell phones and cash. In some cases, the victims were asleep in their rooms when the burglaries are believed to have occurred.
No one was harmed in any of the incidents.
Virginia Tech Police are requesting assistance from any persons who may have witnessed the incidents or have further information.
