Parade in honor of Family Day to be held by the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets
In honor of the families of all Virginia Tech students visiting campus, the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets will have a formal review on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. on the university's Drillfield. It will be centered on Burruss Hall.
During the parade, the Highty Tighties will play and Skipper, the cannon, will be fired when the cadets first enter the Drillfield, at the first note of the National Anthem, and the first note of the Virginia Tech fight song, “Tech Triumph.”
There will be three shots total, the first shot will be at approximately 10:50 a.m. and the final shot will be at about noon. Everyone is welcome to come out and watch this event.
