Landscape architecture students learn by designing for community

Category: academics Video duration: Landscape architecture students learn by designing for community
Virginia Tech landscape architecture students across all years of the program came together for a weeklong design charrette focused on creating more welcoming and engaging spaces in Blacksburg. Working with the Town of Blacksburg, students explored ideas for Draper Road and an art trail connecting the Huckleberry Trail to the Center for the Arts, gaining hands-on experience while responding to real community needs.
