Welcome to the Spring 2026 commencement exercises in this 155th year of the university. You are the products of an academic institution that has been preparing leaders for more than 150 years. And I have every confidence that as you leave this campus or Blacksburg, you're not just ready to adapt to the world as you find it, but you are ready to use your talents to do your part to make it better, to bring that service to bear.
