Students in the Howard Feiertag Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Pamplin College of Business learn real-world culinary skills in the chef lab. Through hands-on experience, they gain expertise in food safety, menu planning, kitchen operations, and teamwork, preparing them for careers in hospitality. The course culminates in practicums where students budget, cook, and serve meals, honing their problem-solving and communication skills.
