Caring for the hundreds of sheep at Virginia Tech's Copenhaver Sheep Center involves many students and staff and happens 365 days a year, rain or shine. Students in both the School of Animal Sciences and the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine are extensive users of the facilities, gaining valuable hands-on livestock experience as well as production management training through a wide range of courses.
