        <description><![CDATA[ Members of the Buildings and Grounds Committee took part in a tour of campus grounds. This tour was unique in that it primarily focused on the University&#39;s beautiful landscaping and urban forestry. The group&#39;s first stop was at the Merry Tree. Here, University Arborist Jamie King explained the historical significance of the tree, as well as the continued preservation efforts. Next, the tour took members of the Board of Visitors to the Drillfield where they discussed how landscape architects make decisions regarding high-traffic areas. Finally, the group visited the future site of the Sesquicentennial Grove. ]]></description>
