Voting now open for the fall 2023 USS election

From: Undergraduate Student Senate

Voting for the USS election is now open! Make your voice heard by voting for your vice president of finance as well as your college and at-large senators.

If you're looking to get involved with USS, write-in candidates are being accepted for senator positions. Visit the USS election website for more information and read the election guide. The Undergraduate Student Senate is responsible for representing the student voice on university committees and commissions, helping make decisions on undergraduate student fee allocations, and working with other student leaders across campus to create the best experience for all Hokies.

Candidate debates will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 6:30-7 p.m. in Colonial Hall for vice president of finance candidates. Attending the debate provides an opportunity to learn about the candidates’ platforms and how they plan to not only represent students within their roles but contribute to positive impacts on campus life. These candidates represent you and each student across campus!

Voting will take place from Sept. 18 -24. All undergraduate students can vote through GobblerConnect, beginning at 12 a.m. Sept. 18 and closing at 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 24. Successful candidates will start their term on Sept. 26.
