University Libraries' resources help students get stuff done
University Libraries offers many services beyond what a library traditionally provides

Welcome back Hokies!
The University Libraries has the resources, spaces, and expertise to help you succeed at Virginia Tech.
We offer many unique services in addition to what libraries traditionally provide.
Students can check out laptops from stations located on the second and fourth floor of Newman Library or visit the Studios Technology Lending Desk to reserve items such as board games, video and audio equipment, research tools, and virtual reality headsets.
The Prototyping Studio houses equipment for 3D Printing, electronics, laser cutting, CNC machining, vacuum forming, clay modeling, sewing, and screen printing. It also offers a wide array of hand tools so you can make anything you dream of, and best of all, it is free for students.
Students can also print projects at the Print Center and reserve group study rooms online.
Our librarians and staff are ready to help you find and access what you need to reach your goals.
Check out the library webpage specifically designed for you. It describes all the library offers Virginia Tech students. If you have any questions about our expertise, services, and how we can assist you, chat with a librarian.
Good luck this year and go Hokies!
