University Libraries launched a new integrated discovery search system for library resources. This system is more robust and capable and is already used by many research universities in Virginia and most of our peer institutions.

This system has a more intuitive, user-friendly interface and enhanced features. As with our previous system, you can find online and physical collections using keywords. Also, discovery search includes options for narrowing and broadening your search results.

As a result of the change, bookmarks and links to previous system searches or resources do not work in the new discovery search. Instructors must update links to videos, books, or databases in their Canvas courses and syllabi.
