Student Affairs invites you to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our university community at our next Aspire! Awards breakfast celebration on Oct. 25 from 8 to 10 a.m. at The Inn at Virginia Tech. This event will honor five student winners and one staff member who have exemplified Student Affairs' five Aspirations for Student Learning.

The October Aspire! Award winners are:

  • Commit to Unwavering Curiosity: Challen Waller in the College of Engineering, majoring in Biological Systems Engineering 
  • Pursue Self-Understanding and Integrity: Elea-Maria Abisamra in the College of Science and Pamplin College of Business, majoring in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience and minoring in Entrepreneurship: New Venture Growth Psychology
  • Practice Civility: Oliver Nazarian in the College of Engineering, majoring in Industrial Systems Engineering and minoring in Leadership Studies
  • Prepare for a Courageous Life of Leadership: Jaxon Robert in the Pamplin College of Business, majoring in Business Information Technology
  • Embrace Ut Prosim as a Way of Life: Andre Asarian in the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, majoring in Public Health and Political Science
