Student Affairs invites you to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our university community at our next Aspire! Awards breakfast celebration on March 21 from 8 to 10 a.m. at The Inn at Virginia Tech. This event will honor five student winners and one staff member who have exemplified Student Affairs' five Aspirations for Student Learning.
The March Aspire! Award winners are:
- Commit to Unwavering Curiosity: Baibhav Nepal in the College of Engineering, majoring in computer science
- Pursue Self-Understanding and Integrity: Zahra Modarres Vahid, a graduate student in the Alliance for Social, Political, Ethical, and Cultural Thought (ASPECT) doctoral program, studying cultural thought and political science
- Practice Civility: Jordyn Lewis in the College of Natural Resources and Environment, majoring in environmental conservation and society and minoring in leadership and social change
- Prepare for a Courageous Life of Leadership: Ronnie Mondal, a graduate student in the College of Science studying chemistry
- Embrace Ut Prosim as a Way of Life: Emily Tirrell, a graduate student in the Translational Biology, Medicine, and Health program through the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Mechanics
- Faculty & Staff Award for Prepare for a Courageous Life of Leadership: Austin Council, collegiate assistant professor and the director of the leadership and social change minor through the Department of Agricultural Leadership and Community Education
