Student Affairs invites you to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our university community at our next Aspire! Awards breakfast celebration on May 2 from 8 to 10 a.m. at The Inn at Virginia Tech. This event will honor five student winners and one staff member who have exemplified Student Affairs' five Aspirations for Student Learning.
The May Aspire! Award winners are:
- Commit to Unwavering Curiosity: Katelyn Stebbins, a doctoral student in the Translational Biology Medicine and Health program
- Pursue Self-Understanding and Integrity: Adam Hoch, a sophomore in the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
- Practice Civility: Velu Krishnan, a graduate student in the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
- Prepare for a Courageous Life of Leadership: C.J. Cotton, a senior in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Services majoring in national security and foreign affairs and minoring in leadership with the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets
- Embrace Ut Prosim as a Way of Life: Samuel Kennedy, a Masters of Information Technology graduate student in the Pamplin College of Business
- Faculty & Staff Award for Embrace Ut Prosim as a Way of Life: Stephen Garnett, associate director of contracts and administration for Dining Services
