Virginia Tech expands student, faculty housing options in the Washington, D.C., area

From: Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, Office of the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Virginia Tech has secured agreements with two housing companies in the greater Washington, D.C., area to offer housing options for Virginia Tech faculty, staff, and domestic and international (requiring only an I-20 credential) students. Select properties, pricing, options, and experiences are available and those interested are encouraged to please contact the companies directly.

Dweck Properties/VT HOUSING:
Dweck Properties is student community-focused and best for those needing longer leases, wanting to be around university students (Virginia Tech and non-Virginia Tech), close to the Metro train stations, and in areas that are/or will become more central to our academic locations- VTRC-A, WAAC, and the Innovation Campus. They are also creating a Virginia Tech block of apartments in those properties to help build community and can work with groups.
