A listening session has been scheduled for the Presidential Search Committee to receive input from faculty, A/P faculty, staff, and students in the greater Washington, D.C., area. The purpose of this session is to allow members of the university community to share their insights on the characteristics they seek in the next Virginia Tech president.

The session will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 20, in the Boeing Auditorium of Academic Building One in Alexandria. There will also be a zoom option available here (VT credentials required).

A search for Virginia Tech's 17th president began in April when President Tim Sands announced that he would be stepping down once a successor is in place.
