University policy updates: Revised April 2023 - July 2023

The following university policies were updated between April 2023 and July 2023. Both substantive and technical updates are included below. Please read to learn more.
Academics
No. 6000 — Undergraduate Honor Code: This policy was revised to allow administrative resolution of first-time honor code cases.
No. 6362 — Policy on Continuing and Professional Education: This policy was modified to list current university facilities and services available for continuing and professional education use and to increase the threshold for university-sponsored consulting for the Technical Assistance Program.
Advancement
No. 12010 — Policy on Dedication of University Facilities: This policy was revised to incorporate position title changes.
No. 1002 — Policy on Adding Names to the Virginia Tech Memorial Pylons: The policy was revised to update position titles.
Campus grounds and infrastructure
No. 5705 — Installation of Window Air Conditioners: This policy revision included a technical update to policy author information and addition of references.
No. 3350 — Charter for the Office of Audit, Risk, and Compliance: This policy was modified to update position titles and reporting lines due to university reorganization.
