Virginia Tech offers faculty, staff, and students complimentary membership at the Taubman Museum of Art
From: Arts@VirginiaTech
Through an institutional membership offered by the Arts@VirginiaTech, current undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and wage employees of Virginia Tech, Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, and the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC receive individual membership for the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia.
Hokie Passports serve as museum membership cards and an exclusive membership portal provides easy access to tickets and information about special member-exclusive events and programs.
Museum members enjoy free unlimited admission to ticketed exhibitions. Members can also experience the museum virtually though the “Member Vault,” which features the collection and exhibitions on view virtually through exclusive video content, audio tours, and more.
Additional member benefits include access to the distinguished speaker series, the Interactive Participatory Gallery, and First Friday activities, as well as free tours, invitations to member preview days, and discounts of 20 percent on classes and 10 percent at the museum café and gift shop.
The membership is a benefit made possible by support from Virginia Tech’s Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost as an Arts@VirginiaTech initiative through the Taubman Museum of Art’s institutional membership program. This initiative provides individual membership for Virginia Tech faculty, staff, and students. Individual members can upgrade to a family/dual membership or a 110 Young Professionals Society individual membership at a discounted rate.
The Taubman Museum of Art is located at 110 Salem Avenue SE in Roanoke, Virginia.
