WickedCon: Influencing Change and Solving Wicked Problems is a free, full-day conference open to all Virginia Tech faculty, staff, and graduate students whose work encompasses professional and leadership development. Sponsored the Professional Development Community of Practice, in collaboration with by Human Resources’ Talent Development team and Technology-enhanced Learning and Online Strategies, the event will be offered in-person or online, giving attendees flexibility to participate in the way that works best for them.
This year's program focuses on four dynamic themes: leveraging technology and data, learning and engagement strategies, leadership and driving change, and accessibility and design solutions.
The day will include a morning keynote from Peter Doolittle, professor of educational psychology in the School of Education, multiple breakout sessions, a hosted lunch, and dedicated networking time to connect with colleagues across the university.
This is an excellent opportunity to share insights, learn new strategies, and engage with the professional development community.
