From Vice President for Human Resources Bryan Garey: An invitation to the Employee Appreciation and Hokie Wellness Fair

Faculty, staff, and non-student wage employees,

As we near the end of the spring semester, I want to share my sincere thanks and appreciation for your hard work and dedication to Virginia Tech.

In honor of your many contributions to the university, you are invited to attend the Employee Appreciation and Hokie Wellness Fair, on Wednesday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lane Stadium.

The following are some highlights of this year’s event:

• The Hokie Wellness Fair, co-sponsored by Grant Irby with University and Main Real Estate Group, Truist Bank, and Warm Hearth Village, will host more than 80 benefits, health, wellness, and other exhibitors.
• Lunch with various concession options to include pizza, hot dogs, chicken tenders, tacos, and quesadillas. A gluten-free station will also be available.
• Music by popular DJ Flex.
• Games, health screenings, vaccinations, food drive, blood drive, and more.

Look for event updates in the Virginia Tech Daily email and on our website. The website also includes employee appreciation events beyond Blacksburg campus.

I hope you will make time to stop by, enjoy lunch, visit the fair, and fellowship with your colleagues even if you cannot attend the entire event.
