Registration open for summer Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) for Women sessions

Registration is now open for the summer 2026 Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) for Women session offered by the Virginia Tech Police Department.
The four-session program will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Mondays, June 8, 15, 22, and 29, at the Virginia Tech Public Safety Building. Participants must attend all four sessions.
The session is open to Virginia Tech faculty and staff members, as well as community members.
RAD is a self-defense program that provides women with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance strategies, along with basic hands-on defense training.
