Diploma ordering, sizes to be standardized and managed through the Office of the University Registrar

In an effort to enhance consistency and security in the production of Virginia Tech diplomas, all ordering services for both undergraduate and graduate diplomas will now be managed through the Office of the University Registrar, effective the spring 2024 semester.

This move will allow the university to offer the same diploma products to graduates regardless of the student’s level. It also centralizes the support for diploma ordering services, so campus offices don’t have to pass students back and forth simply because of the student’s level of graduation (undergraduate or graduate).

Along with the consolidation of diploma production and services, all Virginia Tech diplomas will now be sized at 13.5” x 15.5”, regardless of level. Previously, graduate diplomas were printed at 11” x 14”.
