Parking impacts: Nov. 30 Hokies football game against University of Virginia

To accommodate the increased vehicular traffic for the Hokies football game against the University of Virginia on Saturday, Nov. 30, the following parking and traffic changes will be implemented. All vehicles must be removed from designated lots and roads to avoid towing. Students departing from the Blacksburg campus for the Thanksgiving holiday should ensure their vehicles are parked in accordance with the football parking adjustments before they depart. Resident student permit holders should move their vehicles to the central spaces of the Duck Pond Lot (the Cage) to avoid towing.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

The following lots and roads will be restricted to no additional parking after 5 p.m. All vehicles must be removed from these lots and roads by 5 p.m.:

• Hahn Hurst Lot

• Basketball Extension Lot

• VT Engage Lot (417 Clay Street)

• Stadium Lot

• Perimeter of the Duck Pond Road Lot C/G and R sections

• Duck Pond Overflow Lot

Wednesday, Nov. 27

The following lots and roads will be restricted to no additional parking after 5 p.m. All vehicles must be removed from these lots and roads by 7 p.m.:

• Ag. Quad Lot
• Architecture Annex–Media Lot
• Beamer Way
• Chicken Hill Lot
• Coliseum Lot (located off Washington Street and Beamer Way)
• Data and Decision Sciences Lot
• Davidson Hall Lot
• Duck Pond Drive Lot (the Cage) only the commuter/graduate interior section at the south end of the lot near Vet-Med
• Duck Pond – Overflow Lot (located off Oak Lane)
• Engel/Cheatham Hall Lot
• Food Sciences Lot
• Health and Safety Lot (located off Beamer Way)
• Litton–Reaves/Wallace Hall Lots (located off Washington Street and Duck Pond Drive)
• Lower Stanger Lot
• Maintenance Lot (located off Southgate Drive)
• Oak Lane - First Intersection (3237 Oak Lane) the First lot on the Right (2575 Oak Lane)
• Parking Services Lot
• Price Hall Lot
• Rec Field Lot (off Beamer Way)
• Smithfield Lot (located off Smithfield Road)
• Squires Lot
• Track/Field House Lot (on Beamer Way)
• Undergraduate Science and Laboratory Building Lot
• Veterinary Medicine Lot (north side only)

Resident students may park in the Resident section of Duck Pond Drive Lot (the Cage) interior spaces only.  The perimeter of the lot is reserved for RVs.

Resident students must be moved back into a resident lot by 7 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, to avoid being ticketed.
