Hear insider remarks from an experienced forecaster from the National Weather Service in Blacksburg at an upcoming Virginia Tech Emergency Management presentation open to all university community members.

The presentation, part of the Be Hokie Ready program, will highlight weather issues experienced in Blacksburg and the New River Valley.

The presentation is scheduled for Thursday, April 9 from 3 – 4:30 p.m.

The event will be held in the Public Safety Building, in the second floor Emergency Operations Center (330 Sterrett Drive, Blacksburg, Va.).

This training is free to all faculty, staff, and students, but registration is required. Visit the Emergency Management website to learn more about the Be Hokie Ready program.
