Green RFP Program seeks student sustainability proposals

The Office of Sustainability is currently seeking student proposals for campus sustainability projects for the 2023-24 academic year through the Green RFP Program. 

Student proposals will support Virginia Tech's Climate Action Commitment, with opportunities to focus on energy conservation and efficiency, climate justice, waste reduction, and more. The proposal application deadline is Dec. 11 at 5 p.m.

Submitted proposals will be reviewed by the Climate Action, Sustainability, and Energy Committee during winter break and presented to the Office of Budget and Financial Planning for approval and funding consideration in the spring. 

Project implementation will be completed over the following academic year.
