Fleet Services launching new vehicle reservation and fuel management systems
From: Fleet Services
Fleet Services is introducing two new systems to replace the university’s current platforms for vehicle reservations and fuel management.
FASTER Web will begin replacing Fleet Commander as the vehicle reservation system on July 1. Fleet Commander will remain operational while FASTER Web completes setup and configuration. All users should continue to access Fleet Commander as usual during this transition period. Access to FASTER Web training materials will be available soon.
You can preview the new system by reviewing this PDF, though the final version may differ slightly in appearance.
When making a reservation, users will be able to select a specific vehicle number; however, assignments are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
EJ Ward will replace FuelMaster as the fuel management system in mid-July. Additional information about this transition will be shared soon. Please note the following:
Fuel pumps will be offline for one business day during the transition. That date will be shared once it is scheduled.
Once the new system is installed, all fuel keys will be obsolete and must be returned to Fleet Services. PLEASE WAIT for detailed instructions before taking any action.
New fuel keys will be issued. A distribution process will be announced soon.
