Water outage affecting several Blacksburg campus buildings

Editor's note: Around 1:20 p.m. on Nov. 29 repairs were completed and water was restored.

Due to a water main break that occurred the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 29, a planned water shutdown to several buildings on the Blacksburg campus will occur beginning around 11 a.m. 

The buildings affected include: 

• Price Hall
• Saunders Hall
• Agnew Hall 
• Seitz Hall

During this time, domestic water will be unavailable including for bathrooms and water fountains. Repairs are anticipated to take approximately 3-4 hours to complete.

Updates on the restoration of service will be shared via Virginia Tech News.
