Noise amplification alert: Derring Hall core drilling operations to occur Nov. 20-22

To accommodate capital construction efforts on a pair of elevator towers included in a series of high-priority mobility and accessibility improvements occurring on Virginia Tech's Blacksburg campus, core drilling operations will occur at Derring Hall on Monday, Nov. 20 - Wednesday, Nov. 22. 

During this time, the university and surrounding community may experience periodic and sporadic elevated levels of noise emanating from the Derring Hall area. 

Operations will be limited to room 1008.
