Basketball parking reminders

Heading to Cassell Coliseum to cheer on the Hokies? Don’t forget these parking and transportation reminders:
Weekday games
The following two lots will be restricted to no new parking beginning at 5 p.m. the day before men’s and women’s basketball games. All vehicles must be removed from the lots by 5 p.m. the day before, or be subject to ticketing:
Basketball Practice Facility Lot
- Basketball Extension Lot
The following two lots will be restricted to no new parking beginning at 5 p.m. on the day of men’s and women’s basketball games. All vehicles must be removed from the lots by 5 p.m. or be subject to ticketing:
Coliseum Lot (located off Washington Street and Beamer Way)
Track/Field House Lot (on Beamer Way)
Additionally, Litton-Reaves Lot (on Washington Street and Duck Pond Road) will be restricted to only faculty and staff permit holders beginning at 5 p.m. No C/G/R permit holders will be allowed in after 5 p.m. until the start of the game. All vehicles already in the lot will be allowed to remain.
Weekend games
The following four lots will be restricted the day before the game to no new parking after 5 p.m. All vehicles must be removed from these lots by midnight post-game or be subject to ticketing.
Coliseum Lot (located off Washington Street and Beamer Way)
Track/Field House Lot (on Beamer Way)
Basketball Practice Facility Lot
Basketball Extension Lot
Additionally, Litton-Reaves Lot will be restricted the day before the game to no new parking after 5 p.m. All vehicles already in the lot will be allowed to remain.
Signs will be posted at the entrance to the impacted parking lots the day before the game.
Public parking
Public parking for home basketball games will be in the Stadium Lot, and Chicken Hill Lot. ADA parking is available in the Coliseum Lot. Public RVs must park in the Student Remote parking lot off of Smoot Drive, with prior approval from Parking Services.
Parking in any other location on campus will require a valid Virginia Tech permit or payment using the ParkMobile app.
Blacksburg Transit
Strongly consider taking Blacksburg Transit to and from the games. The latest schedule information can be found at https://ridebt.org.
