The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center (IVTSCC) offers a Campus Concierge service designed to strengthen the relationship between IVTSCC and the university community. The Campus Concierge can assist with hotel room and dining reservations, as well as handle departmental inquiries and requests. This role is dedicated to streamlining interactions with IVTSCC and ensuring that needs are met efficiently.
Services available to all Virginia Tech departments include:
- Hotel Reservations: Assistance with booking accommodations for groups of fewer than 10 rooms.
- Dining Reservations: Arrangements for dining events with fewer than 10 attendees.
- Liaison Role: Serving as a bridge between IVTSCC and the university, directing requests for large groups, event spaces, and other needs to the appropriate teams.
- Event Information: Providing updates on current university events and activities.
- Parent’s Club: Managing questions and sign-ups for the Parent’s Club.
Bennett Anderson, a Blacksburg transplant and proud Hokie fanatic, serves as the Campus Concierge. Bennett, who has been part of the Front Office Team since 2023, is well-versed in handling departmental reservations, providing campus directions, and understanding the needs of department guests and contacts. As a resident of Blacksburg for four years, Bennett is eager to assist with all campus-related needs.
