Bringing medical supplies to football games, sensory advisory

If you are attending a football game and have medical or sensory needs, plan ahead.

From: The Dean of Students Office

If you need to bring medications or medical supplies with you to a football game, plan ahead! Medical supplies may be permitted even if they do not meet the stadium’s standard bag policy.

Bringing medications or medical supplies to games

  • Bring only the medical supplies you need for the event.
  • Check the stadium’s website for its current medical bag/security procedures. See Lane Stadium’s bag policy here.
  • Be prepared for your medical bag or supplies to receive additional security screening at the gate.
  •  You do not need to disclose detailed information about your disability to general stadium staff. You may simply explain that the items are medically necessary.

Sensory advisory and sensory-friendly options

Fans attending home games at Lane Stadium should be aware that events may include loud or sudden noises, high-tempo music, bright or rapidly changing graphics, flashing or strobe-like lights, and other audio and visual special effects. These elements may occur throughout the event and may be unexpected.

Sensory headphones (for rental) and earplugs are available for fans at the Fan Services Booth located on the concourse between Sections 116 and 117 (near Gate 6). Both items are complimentary and available while supplies last. Sensory headphones may be checked out for use during the game - with a form of collateral exchanged - and returned no later than 10 minutes following the conclusion of the game. Headphones include adult and child sizes.

If you are an individual with a disability and desire an accommodation, please contact the ticket office prior to gameday by calling 1-800-828-3244, or visit the Fan Services Booth at Section 116 at the game. For additional details, see ADA Information and Public Parking in the Lane Stadium A-Z Guide.

General safety information
