The CARES Program, formerly housed in the Women's Center, is now part of the Dean of Students Office in Student Affairs.
CARES offers support and advocacy and is a confidential resource that provides support services to students, faculty, and staff who have been impacted by experiences such as sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking/harassment, and many other forms of violence. To meet the needs of our community, our support and advocacy services will be offered in-person and virtually.
The CARES Program operates on the standard university schedule. We are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., except for holidays and other times the university is closed. Our office is located at: 206 Washington Street, Blacksburg, VA 24060.
