Host an intern through on-campus internship program, Campus internEXP

Career and Professional Development is committed to providing quality experiential learning opportunities to Virginia Tech students through our internship and cooperative education programs. Campus internEXP (Campus Internship Experience), is an on-campus internship program where we aim to utilize the variety of job functions and amazing professionals that work right here on campus to create accessible, paid internships for our students.

Whether you need additional support on projects, are new to supervising interns, want to streamline your hiring processes or are interested in learning more about experiential learning best practices, Campus internEXP provides support to supervisors of all experience levels through training, professional development, resources and more!

In addition, we are offering wage matching for internships through this program but have limited spots available form Spring 2027!

If you are interested in hosting an intern through Campus internEXP, please attend one of our required Campus internEXP information sessions to learn more about how to apply to be an internship host/site. You will learn more about how the program works, opportunities for wage matching, how you apply to be a host, and how to write a detailed job description. Sign up for an information session.
