Study abroad: Travel to India this winter

A winter session study abroad program in India offers students the opportunity to study social justice, cultural diversity, and community-based change through academic and experiential learning. Open to all majors, the program provides credit in Sociology, Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies, and/or Criminology.

Students will engage with local organizations, including Aarti for Girls, and participate in a 90-second science communication competition in collaboration with the Center for Communicating Science. Additional activities include cultural events, site visits, and work with community leaders and students at CMS College.

Cost: The program cost is $1,350 plus airfare

Travel dates: Dec. 27, 2026 - Jan. 12, 2027
