Enter the fifth annual Yee Prize music composition competition by May 1

In honor of Jessie S. Yee, an avid supporter of the arts, Gordon Yee and the School of Performing Arts are pleased to announce the fifth annual Yee Prize student music composition competition.
All undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled at the university, regardless of degree or school, are encouraged to submit their best music composition, in any genre or medium.
The composers of the three winning compositions will receive $500, $250, and $100, presented at the New Music Blacksburg concert in the CID Performance Hall at 7:30 p.m. on May 6.
To apply for the competition, each composer should submit one MP3 or WAV audio recording or MP4 video recording of their best composition, along with a matching PDF score, if applicable.Information and files must be submitted by May 1 at 11:59 p.m. at https://forms.gle/ydyjefHJeVFA5mpg9.
Compositions will be adjudicated by a panel of Virginia Tech music faculty and the winning composer of the Yee Memorial Commission.
