During the spring semester, the Early Childhood Education Initiatives (ECEI) is hosting two parenting series for Virginia Tech working parents. Whether you’re seeking child care guidance for little ones or parenting strategies for children of any age, both series offer valuable information and a welcoming space to connect with other caregivers.

These interactive workshops are to support parents in choosing high quality early care and education that is a good fit for their family. The discussion will focus on what parents should look for in quality early care and education. These conversations will take place Feb. 5 and April 2, noon – 1 p.m. via Zoom. Registration is required.
- “Igniting Connections” series: In partnership with NRV CARES, this series is for parents of children and adolescents of all ages. Topics include "Building strong communication with your parenting partner" and "Encouraging independence while maintaining support." These conversations will take place Jan. 22, Feb. 26, March 26, and April 23. All sessions will be held noon - 1 p.m. via Zoom. Registration is required.
