Qualtrics survey software available to university employees at no cost
In response to feedback, a gradual shift to Qualtrics as our primary survey tool is beginning.

The Qualtrics survey platform is now available at no cost to VT faculty, staff, and graduate assistants (including GRAs, GAs, and TAs). These employees can begin using Qualtrics immediately by going to (https://virginiatech.qualtrics.com/) and logging in with their university credentials. Other graduate students can also request access by contacting 4Help IT Support. Qualtrics was selected for its expanded functionality, robust options for survey logic, intuitive interface, and superior capabilities for data analysis.
The new Qualtrics service will benefit research and administrative users by having a fully considered support model that includes dedicated personnel to assist with user questions and the migration of complex surveys and data from QuestionPro to Qualtrics. The project team is focused on addressing user needs and concerns and will provide updates throughout the implementation of the new service.
Re-introducing Qualtrics as the university’s primary tool for surveys comes in response to feedback from our research community and other users. The Division of Information Technology is working with the University Libraries, Technology–enhanced Learning and Online Strategies, and the Office of Research and Innovation to support the implementation.
QuestionPro will continue to be available throughout the transition, and the project team will work with departments to support your migration to Qualtrics.
