Attend the inaugural Children’s Well-being Resource Fair

Employees and families are invited to the inaugural Children's Well-being Resource Fair on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. This event will be held on the Virginia Tech Media Building lawn, across the street from the Blacksburg Farmers Market.

During the event, get free child car seat checks provided by Child Care Aware; flu shots from Blacksburg Pharmacy for adults and children three years and older who weigh more than 35 pounds; and a visit from the Virginia Tech therapy dogs.

Other Virginia Tech and community groups on site will include the Virginia Tech Police Department, the Blacksburg branch of the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library, New River Valley Child Advocacy, Resources, Education, and Services (NRV Cares), the Virginia Tech Developmental Science program, the Virginia Tech Caregiving team, and more.
