Call for nominations: Academies of faculty leadership and service

The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost welcomes nominations of faculty members (of all types: instructional, research, and administrative and professional) for the Academy of Faculty Leadership and the Academy of Faculty Service.

The Academy of Faculty Service recognizes exceptional service to the university beyond a faculty member’s usual responsibilities. Instructional, research, and administrative and professional faculty members are eligible for inclusion in the Academy of Faculty Service. 

The Academy of Faculty Leadership recognizes exceptional leadership within the university, either within or beyond a faculty member’s usual responsibilities. Instructional, research, and administrative and professional faculty members are eligible for inclusion in the Academy of Faculty Leadership.

Before starting your nomination, look at the Tips for Nominators page for up-to-date tips for a complete nomination that the committee can consider. Pay close attention to the last tip. Adherence to these guidelines is crucial. If your nomination does not align with the instructions, it will be returned for revision and resubmission before being considered.

Nominations are due Friday, Nov. 14.

The selection committee is comprised of volunteers who contribute this service alongside their regular responsibilities. Nomination letters or narratives entered directly into the submission fields do not meet the requirements and create difficulties for packet compilation and review processes. We ask that all submissions be concise yet clear, ensuring they meet the necessary standards.
