The Market’s Open Market Hours serve two purposes: first, they help Virginia Tech students meet their nutritional needs through free weekly access to groceries. Second, they provide an opportunity for community members to make food donations that directly impact students’ well-being.

Summer Open Market Hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Tuesday.

The Market relies on contributions from campus and community partners and individual donors. Every donation makes a difference, and individual donations are especially useful over the summer as student need rises.

Please note: While fresh produce and meat are often available over the summer, Open Market Hours only guarantees non-perishable items at this time.
