From: Department of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise

Are you interested in learning more about your body's energy needs and helping researchers better measure food intake in participants of varying body sizes?

Participants are needed for the MEASURE study (IRB #22-654) seeking to understand how a participant’s weight class can affect measurements of dietary intake.

Participants will complete measurements of height, weight, body composition, energy expenditure, and food intake over a period of 5-7 weeks with a total of five visits to the Blacksburg campus. To be eligible, you must be over 18, have a body mass index (BMI) greater than 30 kg/m2, weigh under 600 lbs., and not be following a weight control diet. Compensation of up to $150 is available for this study.
