Required questions for TimelyCare registration

Outside of work, the last thing many of us want to do is to fill out forms. Lucky enough, TimelyCare makes it relatively easy to sign up for their platform.
You can register for TimelyCare at no cost with your @vt.edu email address in five minutes or less! All you need to do is enter five details:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Sex
- Physical Address
- Phone Number
Once you are registered, you will also need to create and confirm your password to start using the app. TimelyCare has several Self-Care Journeys, or a collection of videos, infographics, and short articles on certain topics, with suggestions you can practice applying in your own life. For example, the Self-Care for Loss Journey delves into emotions of grief and uncertainty and helps you to find stability while navigating major life transitions.
Full-time faculty, staff, and non-student wage employees may also access unlimited health coaching and up to 12 free counseling sessions through TimelyCare. Accessing counseling or health coaching with a professional will require you to enter additional information into your patient profile.
To access TimelyCare services, sign in with your @vt.edu email address on the TimelyCare app or website, then navigate to either the Provider Care tab, to meet with a health coach or mental health professional, or the Self-Care tab for Self-Care Journeys or TimelyCast, a podcast with new episodes every two weeks.
About TimelyCare
TimelyCare is a virtual health service, accessible to Virginia Tech faculty, staff, and non-student wage employees regardless of your location in the United States. You can access TimelyCare by computer, tablet, or smartphone using your Virginia Tech email address. Both phone and video sessions are available, as are translation services.
Student wage employees and graduate assistants can access TimelyCare as well. Visit the TimelyCare page on Cook Counseling Center’s site for more information.
