Corps of Cadets cannon to fire Friday and Saturday for Change of Command Pass in Review and Practice

The Corps of Cadets will host a Change of Command Ceremony and Pass in Review on the Drillfield on Saturday, May 3. The event is open to the public and will begin at 10 a.m.
The Pass in Review will honor the Class of 2025 and usher in the Class of 2026 as the cadet commanders of the regiment. Brig. Gen. Dwayne Edwards and Maj. Gen. William Seely will also conduct a formal change of command ceremony during the event.
The Highty-Tighties will play. Skipper, the corps cannon, will be fired during practice and during the Pass in Review.
Practice will be held on Friday, May 2, for the upcoming Change of Command Pass in Review. During practice, Skipper, the corps cannon, will be fired on the Drillfield three times between 3:30 and 4:45 p.m.
Skipper will also fire between 10 and 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, during the Change of Command Pass in Review. The three shots will occur when the cadets reach the Drillfield, at the first note of the national anthem, and at the first note of Tech Triumph.
