April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month – an opportunity to listen to and honor survivors in the community. Virginia Tech’s Office of Sexual Violence Prevention and Education (SVPE), part of Office for Civil Rights Compliance and Prevention Education (CRCPE), is presenting several events throughout the month across campus.

This year’s theme is "Together We Act, United We Change," which highlights the importance of working together to address and prevent sexual abuse, assault, and harassment. This campaign focuses on enhancing public understanding of sexual violence, amplifying the voices of survivors, and empowering everyone to work together to promote the safety and well-being of others.

Here is a rundown of SVPE’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month events:

Those who attend two of the five events will be entered to win a SVPE gift basket! Keep an eye on SVPE’s Instagram for more details. And get more information about the special month’s event lineup on GobblerConnect or the event flyer.
